This week we have North Carolina and the group in discussion is Planned Parenthood South Atlantic. Some questions we have for this organization:
Why did you take out a PPP loan for $2.4 million when the organization has over $40 million net assets?
Can you give more information on what 4a $16,762,758, 4b $1.3 million, 4c $1.3 million when to?
Why did you spend $461,029 on a SEO (Search Engine Optimization) company, $389,985 on a risk management company, and bad debt for $334,350?
Tell us more about your grant to Planned Parenthood Votes South Atlantic for $1.3 million and why is your CEO/Executive Director making money off both organizations, especially when you already gave well over $30 million in lobbying?
Tell us more about your relationship with Secure Source LLC (purchase and refurbish a building)?
We reached out to the Planned Parenthood South Atlantic in order to ask them about these alarming points we came across but they never responded for a comment.
In conclusion, the Planned Parenthood South Atlantic should give the money back just like Fortune 500 companies did, but with a twist. Half going back to the government and the other half going back to Building Blocks for Kids. Truist Bank d/b/a Branch Banking & Trust Co can give back any revenue made (penalty should double that amount) for creating this loan. Not sure what the government will do with their half, yet BBFK knows exactly what we will do with our portion.
Building Blocks for Kids would get a total amount of $1,200,000. Here is how that breakdown of that money will look like:
$30,000 towards our website.
$1,170,000 for 39 classrooms in North Carolina
Helping 39 teachers, over 1,050 students with financial literacy and career discovery education for a full year. To learn more about the BBFK: MORE Program visit: https://bbfkids.org/
