This week we have Minnesota and the group in discussion is Amherst H Wilder Foundation. Some questions we have for this organization are:
Why did you take out a PPP loan for $5.7 million when the organization has over $110 million net assets?
What are you doing with the $24,579,379 (4a), $7,275,771 (4b), and $4,683,832 (4c)?
Why do you have pensions of $810,960 and minimum liability of $5,196,292?
What is the Other (11g) of $1,552,289, Interest (20) $1,508,415 , and Direct Program Expense (24a) of $1,582,391 going towards?
What are your investments in Central America and the Caribbean of $31,030,096 doing?
Tell us more about AHW Corporation, Holcomb Corporation, 46 East Fourth Street and the bond for $28.4 million from Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul?
We reached out to the Amherst H Wilder Foundation in order to ask them about these alarming points we came across but they never responded for a comment.
In conclusion, the Amherst H Wilder Foundation should give the money back just like Fortune 500 companies did, but with a twist. Half going back to the government and the other half going back to Building Blocks for Kids. Wells Fargo Bank can give back any revenue made (penalty should double that amount) for creating this loan. Not sure what the government will do with their half, yet BBFK knows exactly what we will do with our portion.
Building Blocks for Kids would get a total amount of $2,850,000. Here is how that breakdown of that money will look like:
$30,000 towards our website.
$2,820,000 for 94 classrooms in Minnesota
Helping 94 teachers, over 2,600 students with financial literacy and career discovery education for a full year. To learn more about the BBFK: MORE Program visit: https://bbfkids.org/
